anxiety and depression
Anxiety and depression are the most common obstacles to human psychological wellbeing. Distressing personal circumstances can understandably destabilise us, either temporarily, or over a longer term. For those carrying the inner scars of childhood trauma, or family friction, the likelihood of experiencing chronic anxiety and/or depression later in life is increased.
It is also, undoubtedly, a challenging time to be alive. Our world is changing in ways that confront us with uncertainty about what the future might look like and what that could mean for ourselves and our loved ones. In this context, it’s no wonder that many of us are facing feelings of anxiousness, fear, loneliness, anger, depression or despair.
In therapy, my commitment is, firstly, to deeply understand your experience and the context for your anxiety and/or depression. From there, we collaborate to find skillful ways for you to live with your condition, while working to explore and discover pathways to healing and change.
The first step is the hardest, but I promise to make it as easy as possible for you. Reach out for a free, no-obligation consultation to discuss your circumstances and whether I might be a good therapeutic fit for you.
